Ryan Reynolds did an interview with the The New York Times talking about his favorite pieces of clothing, because who doesn’t want to know the fav clothes Mr. Reynolds likes to put on his hot bod. Turns out one of those favorite pieces of clothing is a T-shirt from right here in Michigan. It’s from the the Zukey Lake Tavern a bar in Livingston county that sells various types of merchandise. he bought it at a thrift store in LA 18 years ago.
Talking about the shirt Reynolds said “I have an old T-shirt that I’ve had for maybe 18 years. It was black, but is gray now. And on the front it says Zukey Lake Tavern. I don’t even know where that is, but it’s a real tavern somewhere in the United States. I’ve had a couple of people say, ‘No way! That’s from my hometown.’ I got it at a vintage store shortly after I moved to Los Angeles from Vancouver, way the hell long ago. Maybe this was in 1998 when everything in vintage stores was like four bucks.”
Of course The Zukey Lake Tavern is thrilled to have the Deadpool actor talking about their establishment. They even tweeted the actor requesting a pic of him in the shirt!
