You probably heard about it earlier this year. A man from Holland was going to attempt to swim across Lake Michigan, from Wisconsin to Michigan.

Well, that is no longer happening.

According to a report from 13 On Your Side, Bryan Huffman, 50, was in the water for about 13 hours, swimming about 12 of the 50 miles before calling it off.

The report mentions the strength of the current and the threat of hypothermia as reasons his trip fell short.
